Delivering a speech during his ongoing Porata Yatra in Eluru, Pawan Kalyan recently lashed out at his critics, saying that he has always been concerned about social issues.
In his inimitable style, projecting himself as an intellectual and a well-meaning person, the Jana Sena leader stated, "You don't get to power with money. You become a leader on the strength of public support. When others were enjoying in pubs and bars, I was learning about the society and social issues from books by burning the midnight oil. These so-called politicians dance and have fun. I have danced on the screen only because I am an actor. Otherwise, I have spent my time reading books."
He recently said that there was a conspiracy to get rid of him. He alleged that different parties were trying to kill him.
