'Dabangg 2' has hit the screens and as expected, the opening has been fantastic.

Not just that as the film has also scored on the merits department, something which is pleasing the film's leading lady Sonakshi Sinha no end.

While one waits to see the kind of distance that the sequel ends up covering when compared to the first part (which had done around 145 crores), no one is challenging the euphoria that the film is already generating with collections staying on to be extremely steady.

Smiles Sonakshi, "Well, I am just keeping my fingers crossed. Yes, people do tell me before every release of mine that it is a success in the making. All the good words are most welcome because they bring in a kind of positive energy.

However I would rather wait for audience to pass their verdict. In mean look at the way 'Dabangg' did. We all hoped and thought that it would do well but then it would do so exceedingly well is something that no one imagined. So you don’t really know how far ‘Dabangg 2’ may end up travelling."
