Apoorva, the well-known character artist from Tollywood, has registered a complaint against a few YouTube channels for airing "falsehoods" against her after her recent criticism of TDP MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar. The Central Crime Station (CCS) in Hyderabad has registered her complaints.
As per Apoorva, some followers of the MLA have made wild allegations against her. "They have lied that I resorted to vandalism and burnt down several houses in a village many years ago. I was married in 1993. They have said that I have been harassing my husband (a follower of the MLA) for many years. Years ago, my husband secretly married another woman. I have left it to God to give him just desserts. I even withdrew a 498A case against him because some elders (from the TDP) convinced me to withdraw. Chandrababu Naidu garu, what are your leaders doing to this democracy? They are attacking me verbally and playing cheap tricks without any evidence. If they can show one proof against me, I am ready to be hanged," Apoorva said.
"We in the family have always been supporters of TDP. It doesn't mean I will support everyone and take it lying down. These leaders didn't come to my rescue when my husband was ill-treating me. Chintamaneni garu's followers are taking their ire against me. I have nothing against the MLA. It's some followers who are trying to hurt me from behind the scenes. They are character-assassinating me. I was calm but they still provoked me," she said.
"They are damning Pawan Kalyan for marrying thrice. These very people don't have the humanity to render justice to me when my husband has been giving me a raw deal. They are linking me to Jagan and Pawan. Who are they to judge my character? I know the secrets of these people. If I reveal them, even your children will not get married. So, be careful," she said.
The actress blasted a particular YouTube channel for writing "crap". "Even those who sell their body are better than you lowly creatures. Have some shame," Apoorva said.
