Yogi Babu, the number one comedy actor of Tamil cinema is also playing lead roles from time to time tasting success more often than not. The trailer of his new movie ‘Kuiko’ has landed promising a lively rural tale laden with dark humour.
Vidharth plays the parallel lead in ‘Kuiko’ who wants to watch an IPL match but is forced by his relatives to transport a dead body of an old woman who passed away. Yogi Babu appears as the shepherd son of the deceased who is rejected by the brother of the girl he loves and goes to Saudi Arabia to become rich. The clip shows the ace comedian returning home for the funeral finding that the cask with the dead body gone missing. There are glimpses of genuinely humorous sequences delivering his signature punchlines and counters.
‘Kuiko’ is directed by Arul Chezhian while both Anthony Dasan and Kevin Miranda have composed the music. The film hits the screens on November 24th and will face competition from Chiyaan Vikram’s ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’, Santhanam’s ’80s Buidup’ and Rio Raj’s ‘Joe’.
