Yogi Babu the busiest comedy actor in Tamil cinema is alternating between lead roles and supporting roles in big films with top heroes. He is playing the lead in an interesting subject directed by Chimbudevan for which the title announcement video was launched on July 15th.

The new film is titled 'BOAT' and will have Yogi Babu with a few other actors completely shot at midsea in an unique attempt. It is said to be action-packed and full of twists and turns. Earlier the Oscar winning movie 'Life of Pi' directed by Ang Lee was shot entirely in the seas The film produced by Prabha Premkumar has music by Ghibran, cinematography by Madesh Manickam and edited by Manimaran. Like the Hollywood release this film has a story that takes place on a boat in the middle of the ocean, so it is worth noting that this film has good expectations.

Chimbudevan is known for his experimentation with the historical comedy '23 aam Pulikesi', timeloop in 'Oru Kanniyum Moondru Kalavaniyum', western in 'Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam' and the fantasy historical childrens movie 'Puli' starring Thalapathy Vijay. Hopefully his 'BOAT' will also give audiences a new experience.
