Yogi Babu the busiest actor in Kollywood is juggling atleast half a dozen projects that has him in the lead role as well as films with other top stars. Meanwhile, his latest film to go on floors is 'Bommai Nayagi' produced by Pa Ranjith which is being shot in the seaside areas of Cuddalore.

The most surprising aspect of 'Bommai Nayagi' is that Yogi Babu is appearing as teashop owner and is playing dad to a young girl. Until now the comedy hero has played mostly single youngsters and this is his first mature role in his career.

Subadra who played Kishore's wife in Vetrimaaran's 'Vada Chennai' has been cast as Yogi Babu's daughter in 'Bommai Nayagi' and the story revolves around the relationship of these two. Shan debuts as director while Sundaramurthy KS is scoring the music, Athisayaraj handling the cinematography, Selva in charge of the cuts and L Jayaragu the art direction.

Apart from Yogi Babu and Subadra 'Bommai Nayagi' has KPY Jayachandran, Jaani Hari and G.M. Kumar play pivotal roles.
