Top Kollywood comedian Yogi Babu has featured in movies of all big stars of Tamil film industry including Thala Ajith, Vijay, Vikram, Suriya, and now he is acting in several biggies including the most expected biggie, Superstar Rajnikanth starrer Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss.

Even as he is acting as comedian in many movies, he has also started to act in lead roles, and while Dharma Prabhu starring him in lead role is announced as June 28 release, now another movie with him as the hero is getting ready for release as well.

Gurkha, directed by Sam Anton who had recently delivered the acclaimed 100 starring Atharvaa and Yogi Babu, is geared up for release and now it has been made official that the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of Gurkha have been bagged by Libra Productions. The team is planning to release Gurkha on June 28 or in July first week.
