The coronavirus pandemic has put the entire world in disarray with the infected persons numbers nearing 8 lakhs and the dead count towards a shocking 40 thousand. Like all other industries, the film workers too are in deep trouble due to the shutdown and stars have now started contributing money and essential items to give them a helping hand.
Yogi Babu has donated 50 bags of 25kg rice to the FEFSI office towards the affected workers. The ace comedian who got married on February 5th had planned to conduct a grand reception for his industry colleagues on April 9th. He had even distributed invitations to VIPs including TN Chief Minister Edappadi Pazhaniswamy.
However, with the total 21-day lockdown enforced by the government to combat coronavirus would end only on April 14th and there is also the likelihood of it being extended Yogi Babu is said to have postponed his reception date having made all arrangements.
