Yogi Babu's 'Dharmaprabhu' mythical fantasy story revealed

Yogi Babu started his career as an extra and then from an comic sidekick has now become the most sought after comedian in Kollywood. What is more after his "Kalyana Vayasu" song and playing Nayanthara's love interest in 'Kolamavu Kokila' his stock has risen to the level of playing the lead in three upcoming films. One such project is the just announced 'Dharmaparabhu' in which he play Yaman the God of Death.

The story of 'Dharmaprabhu' has been revealed which is of the mythical fantasy genre. Yaman decides to call it quits in the heavens and the battle as to who would take his place is between the son played by Yogi Babu and Chithragupta (Karunakaran) who has the experience. The eternal question of whether the heir should rule or a common man who has experience on the job. Justin Prabhakaran scores the music, San Lokesh the editing and Mahesh Muthuswamy handling the camera. The film is produced by P. Ranganathan under the banner Sri Vaari Films and is to be shot predominantly in Yamalokha sets erected in Chennai and the team will also move offshore to shoot a small portion.
