I have no connection with this – Yogi Babu’s strong denial

Yogi Babu is enjoying his enviable position as the most sought after comedy hero in Tamil cinema and his lineup of films include ‘Karnan’, ‘Dikkilona’, ‘Panni Kutty’, ‘Trip’ and ‘Kadaisi Vivasaiyi’.  He has also signed on to play the lead role in a new movie produced by Pa. Ranjith.

Meanwhile the poster of a new movie ‘Doulath’ has been released on the internet with Yogi Babu featuring in it.  The busy star has written on Twitter in Tamil “I saw this advertisement today and want to make it clear that I have no connection with this film whatsoever.

There have been complaints like this as many producers and directors promote their films with stars without even signing them on.  Industry insiders say that they do it go get finance as financiers are attracted if a current favorite star is on board.
