Yogi Babu is currently the number one comedian in Tamil cinema. He is a skilled actor as well and occasionally does some films as a hero including 'Mandela', which won a couple of National Awards. Yogi is playing the lead role again in the upcoming film, 'Bommai Nayagi'.

The official trailer of Bommai Nayagi debuted on the internet yesterday and is going viral. It is so good to see Yogi Babu in a serious role yet again. He plays a tea stall owner and we can see shades of a caring as well as estranged father in him in the 2.5-minute video. The promo promises an intense emotional and social drama.

Bommai Nayagi is written and directed by Shan with music composed by Sundaramurthy KS. Director Pa Ranjith has bankrolled the film under the banner Neelam Productions along with Yaazhi Films. The technical team includes Arputharaj as the DOP, Selva RK as the editor and Jayaragu as the art director. The movie will hit the screens on February 3rd.
