Earlier we had reported that actor Kalabhavan Shajon will be soon making his directorial debut with an upcoming family entertainer starring Prithviraj in the lead role. Now the latest that we hear is actor-director Roopesh Peethambaran will be next directing Prithviraj in the lead. Touted to be a crime thriller, the director promises the upcoming project to be a mass film. 

"I am currently re-working the script. The movie will take time to go on floors though as Prithviraj is expected to be busy with Aadujeevitham and Lucifer for major part of next year, and will join the film only after he's done with his commitments," said Roopesh Peethambaran in an interview to a popular newspaper. He will also be directing the sequel of Dulquer Salmaan's 'Theevram' after this Prithviraj project.

On the acting front, Roopesh is currently working on a comedy entertainer titled Angarajyathe Gymmanmaar. Meanwhile, Prithviraj is currently busy with Anjali Menon’s upcoming movie, Nirmal Sahadev’s Ranam aka Detroit Crossing and Roshni Dinaker’s My Story.
