Yesteryear Actress Simran Heaps Praises on Mega Star Chiranjeevi and Natasimha Balakrishna

Simran, a celebrated actress during her prime, captivated audiences by romancing the top stars of South Indian cinema, earning her the title of the No. 1 and most sought-after heroine. After a hiatus, Simran has made a remarkable comeback, making waves in the industry once again. Recently, she appeared in Bollywood films like Gulmohar and Tiger 3 and starred in Rajinikanth's Petta. She has upcoming projects such as Andhagan, Sabdham, and Dhruva Natchathiram in Kollywood.

In a recent interaction with the media at the IIFA event in Abu Dhabi, Simran expressed her admiration for Mega Star Chiranjeevi and Natasimha Balakrishna.

Why are you not seen in films nowadays?

"I am busy taking care of my kids. They are teenage boys, and you know the pressures that come with that. However, I am involved in a few Tamil projects."

When will you entertain Telugu viewers again?

"100% I will do it if I get good roles. I am keen to act opposite top stars if the roles are good."

Any favorite songs?

"I like 'Aata Kavala, Paata Kavala' in Chiranjeevi's Annayya and 'Chilakapacha Koka' in Balakrishna's Narasimha Naidu."

Do you have any current projects in Telugu?

"At present, no."

When will you do mass songs with Balakrishna again like 'Chilakapacha Koka'?

"When I get the opportunity, I will definitely do it."

What was your experience working on the 'Chilakapacha Koka' song?

"It was a great experience, of course. Working with Bala sir was very enthusiastic; he is a very energetic person. There was a friendly competition between us regarding dance. The experience of working with him was fantastic."

Did you practice for any of the dances?

"No, since I am a trained dancer, the moment music is played, I automatically dance."

Have you met Balakrishna recently?

"No, I have not."

Who is your favorite hero in the South?

"All are my favorite stars. I cannot be biased. I like Chiranjeevi, Rajinikanth. All the young stars are doing very good and are very energetic. I want to work with everyone as they are very talented."

Any dream roles?

"I don't have any specific dream role. Life has taken a turn, and everything is fantastic."
