'Collection King' Mohan Babu has been drafted by Nag Ashwin to play the great SV Ranga Rao in 'Mahanati'. He is one more actor to join the cast and crew of this biopic of yesteryear screen actress Savithri. It will be a treat to watch Mohan Babu doing the domineering actor's role.

It's an ensemble cast for sure. Recently, Prakash Raj was roped in to play Chakrapani, who was a renowned writer, director, and producer.

As is known, the role of Savithri is being essayed by Keerthy Suresh, who is also doing it for the Tamil version, titled as 'Nadigayar Thilagam'.

Dulquer Salman will be seen as Gemini Ganesan, while Samantha, the film's second most important character, is a journalist.
