Yennamo Yedho Preview

Be it any season, rom-coms make for pleasant entertainment. And one such is in the making by director Ravi Thiyagarajan. After his grand launch in Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal', it is Gautam Karthik who will be playing the lead in 'Yennamo Yedho' - shortened to a hep 'YoYo' - a romantic-comedy entertainer, helmed by Ravi Thiyagarajan. Rakul Preet Singh who debuted in Tamil as Divya in 'Puthagam', will be playing the heroine in YoYo; British Indian model Nikeesha Patel, is also a part of YoYo's star cast. The film has the distinction of being produced as the first from the pioneers of shooting equipments in south India.

'Yennamo Yedho' is the first film to be rolled out from the house of Raviprasad Productions, a venture of Ravi Prasad Outdoor Unit. Ravi Thiyagarajan was formerly an associate director Priyadarshan, and is making his debut as a director with this film; it is worth mentioning that Ravi is the son of famous stunt master Thiyagarajan.

The film also includes actor Prabhu to its star cast, and he plays the hero's father; Gautham was reported expressing joy of over sharing the screen with his dad's friend. 'Yennamo Yedho' went on floors last may and is nearing completion now. The film is canned by Gopi Jagadeeswaran, while Jerome Allen is on editing. Lalgudi N Illayaraja of 'Vishwaroopam' fame is the art director of this rom-com, titled after the hit song from 'Ko'. Music for the film is composed and scored by Imman and xpectations on 'Yennamo Yedho' are quite high.
