A little interest on this flick is for A.R.Rahman's sister and GVPs mother A.R. Rehaina debuting as producer. Directed by newcomer Vignesh Karthick the plot line does have possibilities which have been wasted.
Praveen (Azhar) is a jobless youth who falls in love with a co-interviewee Ramya (Sanchitha Shetty). One day when he goes out of the house without applying oil to the head he becomes the target of a supernatural power which plays havoc on his life. The supernatural element then puts the hero in a Blue Whale like game giving him tasks like making a grandma slap him (!!!), saving a girl from suicide and so on and gives him an ultimate task that puts him and his loved one in great danger. The outcome is far from interesting as it may sound.
Television star Azhar makes his debut as the hero and is fairly decent but fails in comedy for which he is known for. Sanchitha Shetty just walks in and out of frames and does not have much else to do in the story. Singapore Dheepan and Ramar are in the cast but comedy is not. Yogi Babu appears in a couple of scenes with Archana which are high on adult content but atleast manages to evoke a smile.
The first few scenes are interesting and especially how the parents and sister of the hero remind him of his unemployment is quite funny.
The screenplay moves haphazardly and does not pick up speed either which is necessary for this kind of script.
All the technical contributions including music and cinematography are average. The writer director has chosen a zany subject but does not tell it with energy and kills it with very mediocre writing and execution.
Verdict : You can give this a miss
