Anupam Kher starrer 'Yeh Faasley' has proven to be a washout at the box office with no collections to show at all. In fact such poor was the fate of the film that it's one week collections were even below those of films like 'Yeh Saali Zindagi', '7 Khoon Maaf' and 'Patiala House' which are just about ending their run.

Barely managing to accumulate a few lakhs, the film has again raised a pertinent question that 'Is there any chance for Bollywood films with veteran actors as the central protagonists to succeed?' Yes, there could be an occasional 'Baghban' but for every such film, there are 10 disasters waiting to happen, something that happened in case of 'Yeh Faasley'.

Of course the film itself should carry weight of it's own to make any mark at the box office, something that was totally missing in 'Yeh Faasley'. To add insult to the injury, its promotion wasn't anything to write home about as well. However the way 'Yeh Faasley' has performed, distributors would now think twice before picking up films like these which don't quite have a selling point to boast of.
