The amazing Rancho-Raju-Farhan trio who has etched into our hearts with their blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’ has a great surprise for its fans. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film portrays the awesome friendship bond between the engineering classmates.

Adding to the amazing lists of surprises from the Industry, the director has told that he has definitely planned for a sequel to ‘3 Idiots’ and the process is still in its initial stage. It is not sure if the same cast – Aamir Khan, Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor would be repeated in the sequel. He further said, " In fact, Abhijat [Joshi, writer] and I started writing something a few days ago. But it's still in the initial stage and we will take a fair amount of time to develop the script."

With just few days away from ‘Sanju’s release, Rajkumar Hirani is currently busy promoting the biopic. Looks like the ‘3 Idiot’ sequel may take time as it is still in the process. It is said that the director will start working on the sequel only after ‘Munna Bhai 3’ as the script for the latter have already been finalised.
