"A story that needs to be told.. The walk of a life time.. Privileged to be a part of #Yatra," Malayalam superstar Mammootty said while releasing the Teaser of 'Yatra', the biopic on late Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy. Mammootty has dubbed his voice and it has to be seen how it will be received.

The Teaser presents the inner voice of YSR talking to himself ahead of taking the historic Pada Yatra in 2003 that decimated the TDP in the 2003 General elections. Leaving it to history to judge him, YSR decides to embark on a yatra to listen to the people first-hand.

Directed by Mahi V Raghav, it is produced by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy. It has been shot since June 23. The marathon schedule will come to an end only in the last week of September. The film is apparently slated to be released next January.

Rao Ramesh, Anasuya, Posani Krishna Murali, Vinod Kumar and Sachin Khedekar are doing supporting roles.

Music is by K. Satyan Suriyan is the cinematographer. Sreekar Prasad is the editor. Ramakrishna Sabbani & Monika Nigotre of 'Rangasthalam' fame are the art directors. Choreography is by Brunda.
