'Yatra' reports decent BO figures on Day 1

'Yatra', released on Friday, had a strong release in the Telugu States. The emotional-political drama has pulled off a decent show on Day 1.
As per a trade report, the Mammootty-starrer mopped up Rs 2.40 Cr in terms of distributor's share in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. As expected, the film did pretty well in Rayalaseema.
Directed by Mahi V Raghav, the film failed to make the cut in the US, where the scale of the release was good.
The second half being an extension of the first half is one of its main drawbacks.
