'Yatra' gets crisp time; trade awaits buzz

YSR's biopic, 'Yatra', has been certified with 'U' by censor board. The film has a not-so-long run-time of 126 minutes.
Starring Mammootty as YS Rajasekhara Reddy, this has been written and directed by Mahi V Raghav. Recently, there was this buzz that Jaganmohan Reddy has a cameo in this political drama.
With the NTR biopic failing this Sankranthi, the YSR biopic is struggling to gain buzz, a report recently claimed. Trade circles are not enthused by a genre if a film belonging to that particular genre fails. But biopic is a broad category. Technically, 'Yatra' can't be compared with 'NTR: Kathanayakudu'. Rather, it should be put in the same league as 'NTR: Mahanayakudu'.
The film, also featuring Jagapathi Babu (as Raja Reddy), Suhasini, Posani, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rao Ramesh and others, will hit the screens on Feb 8.
