In the teaser for 'Yashoda', Samantha Ruth Prabhu is introduced as a pregnant woman who has to survive a series of attacks from all sides. She undergoes trauma, physical torment, mental torture and worse just when she has to live every moment in peace.

Directors Hari and Harish have written the lead protagonist's character as an embodiment of strength, willpower and indomitable spirit. The adrenaline is going to make this survival thriller a film to reckon with, we hope!

Samantha's expressions throughout are commendable. The thriller seems to have been made on rich production values.

Shot in Hyderabad, Kodaikanal and other locations, the film will be released in five languages (read Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi simultaneously). We have to wait for the trailer to arrive to know what roles the likes of Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, and Sampath Raj have got. Unni Mukundan, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada, and Priyanka Sharma are part of the cast. The film's fights are by Venkat and Yannic Ben.
