The first social work of rocking star Yash has turned very fruitful. After marriage the first big success from his Yasho Marga foundation is a gleeful aspect and a rejoicing moment for the New Year Ugadi – Hevilambi Samvatsara beginning.

In the last year the Yasho Marga foundation took up the issue of water crisis in Koppal district. The super star Yash visited the drought affected areas and provided drinking water in some places.

In some other places the attempt to dig the long lasting silt was taken up. Yash came with his wife Radhika Pandit to the beginning of this Hooleththuva` program (taking out silt) of lakes. In one month the rigorous work taken up at Yalburga taluk Talluru lake the 95 percent of silt has been removed. The people working on this noticed the ground water coming out brought cheers in the drought affected people.

Yashomarga Foundation took up Rs.4 crore project and deployed necessary machinery. After the silt removed from the lake, the farmers came voluntarily to clear it in tractors. Now the silt collected is used as fertilizer in the fields.

For this Ugadi festival the Yashomarga Foundation has given new path to the people. It has also set an example.

Yash has succeeded in this task and he has taken up the famous statement Kereyaniranu Kerege Chelli` – what you take invest at the same place.

In this case he invested from his earnings in cinema and saw smile on the faces of people through this social work.
