Actress Yashika Aanand had debuted with the thriller hit Dhuruvangal Pathinaru, and had gained immense popularity with her glamorous presence in the adult comedy flick Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu which turned out to be a surprise Superhit.

The actress, who then made her presence felt with her small screen appearance as a contestant in the second season of Bigg Boss 2, is currently acting in a number of films including one with Mahath and another costarring Yogi Babu, titled zombie.

Recently, a supporting actress named Yashika had committed suicide, and this news was published wrongly in a Bengali news website with Yashika Aanand's photograph and mentioning her Bigg Boss stint as well. Sharing this on her Twitter handle, the actress tweeted "What the hell" expressing her anger over the fake news that claimed she was dead.
