The rocking star Yash knowing the poverty stricken people status in the society especially in the drought hit areas has come up with a new measure to help with drinking water for the severely affected areas in Karnataka. He has formed Yasho Marga Foundation`. This foundation would look in to the poor farmers, coolie workers and drought affected families with good food and water. Yash has called upon his colleagues in the cinema industry to join this cause.

As a first measure this Yasho Marga Foundation extends water on alternate days for 50 villages. It has already moved to 25 villages in Kalburgi and reaches 25 more villages in Bijapura. Whatever I am today is because of the people of Karnataka admits Yash.
