On sunny Sunday at Kanteerava studio a new Kannada film ‘Yarra Birri’ went on the floors from a team of newcomers. Former Minister Raju Gowda sounded clap board for the muhurut shot.

‘Yarra Birri’ is used in Kannada language for something happening in huge – for positive and negative occasions this ‘Yarra Birri’ is used in social life.

Now with such a title for the film debutant director Govind Dasar has thought of a class and mass story line. He is also director of this film. He has plans to shoot in Dharwad, Dandeli, Bagalkote, Madikeri and Mysuru locations. He is an engineer by profession penned the story. He is also aware of editing and animation techniques.

Shivu Beragi is scoring music. Screenplay and dialogues are penned by Suresh Navalli, Poornachandra Baikadi cinematography, Power Pushparaj stunts, Sandeep S Naguru dance part of this film technical team.

HG Dos who is proprietor of camera equipments for TV serials and cinema with 2 D and 3D animation services Dos Cine Creations invest on this film. His son Govind Dasar is director of this film.

Anjan a farmer son is hero of this film. For the sake of love he faces difficulty. He plays mechanic. He is a rural star in real life with nearly 200 fans association 3 lakh members in it. for box office collection going ‘Yerra Birri’ he would be of great help.

Archana Mosale of one film each in Telugu and Tamil is female lead in this film. She has acted in eight films so far. In Kannada first film I am in a mass role.  Innocent role is played by Bagalkot Sonu Patil. The role is silent but for hero he is violent is Vardhan a bearded chap in the film. Santosh Reddy, V Sharanu, SK Uppara and others are in the cast.
