Yami Gautam talks about her role in 'A Thursday'

Actress Yami Gautam is all set to impress the audience with her next film titled 'A Thursday' and this time she'll be seen in a totally different avatar. The trailer of the film was released few days back and it has proved that Yami can easily pull off antagonistic characters as well. During a recent media interaction, she stated that the incredible response to 'A Thursday' trailer has tempted her to do more edgy projects in future.
She told ETimes, "A Thursday is very close to my heart for more reasons than one. I am more than excited to receive so much love from my fans across the nation...It makes me sure as an actor to take many such challenging and edgy characters in the future. I hope they enjoy the film as well."
The trailer featured Yami in the role of Naina Jaiswal, a play school teacher who takes 16 of her pupil as hostages and makes some demands to the government including a direct conversation with the Prime Minister. Naina seems to have a tough and determined personality who hasn't shown all her cards just yet. It is also being specualated that her character will turn out to be an anti-hero in the end.
