Bollywood actress Yami Gautam on Friday tied the knot with filmmaker Aditya Dhar, who is known for the blockbuster Hindi-language flick 'Uri'. The wedding was a close-knit affair. Even the national media was not aware of it. The announcement by the couple themselves was sudden and a pleasant surprise.

Making the announcement, the couple said that they got married with the blessings of their respective elders. "Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family. As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes," the duo wrote.

The beautiful actress wore a red saree for the occasion and she was dazzling in it. The groom wore a white sherwani with white safa and he looked dignified. Early pictures were very few. On Saturday, though, numerous pics from the wedding surfaced on the Internet.

It was a traditional wedding, as can be seen in the pics. In one of them, a relative is seen tying anklets on Yami's feet, much to her glee.

On the work front, Yami is doing 'Bhoot Police', the Bollywood film co-starring Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez.
