For an audience hungry for visual treat, Yamapasam is the one to watch out for.  Or so it appears going by the trailer.  Titled as Miruthan in Tamil, this one has Jayam Ravi playing the lead role. 

Jayam Ravi is hops to gain foothold in the Telugu market with this ambitious venture.  What is there for the audience?  A zombie film, that is, it belongs to a new genre.

Shakti Soundar Rajan is the director.  Lakshmi Menon is the female lead.  D Imman has given a very good music.  It is the first Indian zombie film.

This is touted to be India's first zombie thriller and this is its biggest strength.  Bought for a fancy price by Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, this one is the dubbed version of Miruthan (Tamil).  If being a first-of-its-kind movie is its biggest strength, its weakness is that Jayam Ravi is not a familiar face in Telugu.
