Another highlight of the film is that it is hatrick combination for director S.S. Rajamouli with NTR, whose earlier films Student No.1 and Simhadri were blockbusters in Tollywood. Hence the expectations on the film are very high and the entire team of Yama Donga has no doubts that he will deliver it in style.

Also the film has a noteworthy star cast with the biggest names in Tollywood, including Padma Shri Dr M. Mohan Babu, who is playing an equally important role as the hero and is bound to create waves with his performance in the prestigious character of Yamadharma Raju. The other important artistes are Dr. Brahmanandam, Ali, M.S. Narayana, Raghubabu, Jayaprakash Reddy, Rajiv Kanakala and others. Narendra Jha, who played the role of Baji Rao in the film 'Chatrapathi', is the main villain of the movie.
Keeravani outperforms:
Viswamitra Creations did not compromise on any issues and wants to make a mark in the international market. Music would take the cake among all the other highlights of the movie. Music director MM Keeravani outperformed in providing soul stirring music. The audio compromises of six songs and four bit songs and is all set for release first week of July. Keeravani, who says he is one of the fans of Daler Mehendi, made the latter to sing a song for the film, the first by the singer in a south Indian language. Another speciality is that NTR and Mamata Mohan Das personally rendered a hit number of the late NT Rama Rao in 'Yamagola' for a remix by Keeravani and they themselves danced to the tune in the film

The production house and the director have ensured qualities of high standard and are very confident that this film will be on par with Hollywood and they are sure that this film will be enjoyed even by the foreigners and Hindi speaking audience too, purely because of the fact that the plot is a very interesting one in the form of a socio fantasy subject.
Techical glitz:
Cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar is all praise for Ananda Sai, the art director, who was given a free hand by the producers and the director to light up the sets in a tasteful way. Though the cost of the film had gone up substantially because of his excellent lighting schemes, the producers have no qualms about it as it enhanced the richness of the film.

At least 300 workers worked on the set day and night over period of 90 days to erect the mighty 'Yama Lokam' set in Ramoji Film City. The magnitude of the set was so much that it took almost one and half month to dismantle. It is further surprising to mention that the number of shooting days in this set was a mere 42 days. Apart from this, a few other sets were erected for canning of four songs, the set of the Hero House and the Heroine House are also done with a lot of grandeur.
