A classic case of a movie getting trapped between two high profile releases, 'Yakeen' is trying hard to maintain the same intensity of promotion as 'Sarkar' and 'Dus'.

While 'Yakeen' and 'Sarkar' release with a gap of one day (Sarkar releases this Thursday), 'Dus' comes in the following week hence making the survival of 'Yakeen' even tougher.

To the credit of the makers of 'Yakeen', they have been making a constant effort to make the presence felt for this thriller revolving around a husband-wife couple played by Arjun Rampal and Priyanka Chopra.

But all the buzz surrounding RGV's interpretation of 'Godfather' in 'Sarkar' and 'Dus' being a movie around global terrorism, makes the viewer get into a choosy mood for this weekend.

With an average music not helping the cause either, 'Yakeen' would have to reply completely on its script, performances and overall good execution by debutant director Girish Dhamija in order to create a positive word of mouth and be able to make a name for itself.

A few years back, there was a similar scenario with Big B's 'Aks' releasing neck to neck with lesser known romantic love story 'Tum Bin'. No prizes for guessing which of the two reached the winning post?

Will 'Yakeen' have enough ammunition to repeat history? Coming weekend should have all the answers
