Yahoo in a statement issued earlier revealed that all of the 3 billion accounts in 2013 were hacked. The number is fare more than the estimate as initially there were reports that 1 billion were hacked, now this figure could cause more legal controversy for the already suffering software company. Officials from Yahoo said "recently obtained new intelligence" showed all user accounts had been affected. The company said the investigation indicated that the stolen information did not include passwords in clear text, payment card data, or bank account information.
