Director Hari is currently basking in the success of Arun Vijay and Priya Bhavani Shankar starrer 'Yaanai', which is currently running in the theatres. He was one of the leading mainstream directors in Tamil cinema and the maker has returned to direction with 'Yaanai' after a hiatus.

In a recent interview, Hari opened up about his plans to work with Thalapathy Vijay. He said that he often meets Vijay and discusses stories but they haven’t finalized the script to take the project forward. The maker reportedly said that he will work with Vijay together when the time comes and the rumours suggesting that the talks are not working are false.

Hari also added that story discussion is crucial and essential for a filmmaker. He reportedly said that it is secondary for a story to be approved but it is important to have something new and make frequent attempts. On the work front, Hari is most likely to work on reviving his project 'Aruvaa', which was supposed to star Suriya.
