Actor Karuna who is gaining prominence as a humour based character artiste thanks to hisperformances in the recent hit films ‘Pizza’, ‘Soodhu Kavvum’ and ‘Yaamirukka Bayamey’ has landed a dream opportunity to share screen space with the one and only Superstar Rajinikanth.

Karuna has bagged a role in Rajini’s upcoming film ‘Lingaa’ that is being directed by K.S.Ravikumar. It is said that Karuna’s role will be a pretty lengthy one since he is expected to shoot for 20 days for the film.

Karuna who is on cloud nine for bagging the coveted offer has said that he has seen Rajini only once from a long distance and it is like dream come true to work with him. Apart from Karuna, ‘Lingaa’ supportingcast includes Santhanam, Radha Ravi and R.Sundarrajan while Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka will be playing the female leads.
