Famous educationalist and mother of Y.Gee Mahendra, Rajalakshmi Parthasarathy passed away a little while ago due to a cardiac arrest at the age of 93.  Wife of playwright Y.Gee. Parthasarathy she headed the popular Padma Seshadhri schools in Chennai and was much loved by both the students and the staff.

Rajalakshmi Parthasarathy was also a close relative of Rajinikanth and Anirudh Ravichander .It has been informed that her mortal remains will be kept for public homage at the Bharat Kalachar in T.Nagar and the cremation will be held tomorrow the 7th of August.

She is survived by her two sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren YG Mahendran-Sudha Mahendran, Grand Son & Daughter Harsha & Madhuvanthi, YG Rajendran-Sheela Rajendran and Adithya & Samyukta
