China's Wuhan city, which was the origin of coronavirus, recently had a massive electronic music festival which took place in an open air water park with thousands of people dancing to music without any social distancing or masks, which has caused social media outrage.
The Wuhan Maya Beach Water Park was packed over the weekend with partygoers gathering and dancing shoulder to shoulder, without even following social distancing or wearing masks for safety, and these photos of Wuhan people having fun in water has turned viral. The Wuhan Maya Beach Water Park was reopened in late June, after which a month of seasonal rain had stopped crowds from coming.
In Wuhan, life is back to normalcy and the city with a 11 million population removed the strict lockdown which was enforced for 76 days. Wuhan hasn’t reported any new cases since mid-May. On June 5, the last three coronavirus patients in Wuhan were discharged and since then the city has recorded zero cases of the virus even after mass testing of about 10 million people.
