On behalf of the complainant advocate Arun Shyam argued and appealed for presentation of awards cancellation. AG Shivanna objected to the argument. The order in favor of state government was passed.

What is the objection? The complainant is producer of Kannada film Shavada Munde`. It was a socially relevant film according to him and it was rejected by the state awards committee headed by director Kavitha Lankesh.
