Actor Salim Kumar's critically acclaimed movie 'Karutha Joothan' (Black Jew) which won the Best Story at the State Film Awards last year is all set to be released in Kerala this month. Now the latest hat we hear is the actor-director is gearing up for his next with Jayaram in the lead. However, the cast and crew are not confirmed yet. The movie is expected to start rolling by October this year.

Though Jayaram and Salim Kumar have shared the screen space in a number of movies, this is the first time they are reuniting as an actor-director combo. Salim Kumar's first directorial venture was the critically acclaimed movie 'Compartment', which dealt with the life of differently abled children. His second directorial venture 'Karutha Joothan' which revolves around a black Jew and his quest to find his lost identity will be brought to the theatres soon by Lal Jose's own banner LJ Films.
