The amazingly talented actress, Priyanka Chopra Jonas not only made it big in Bollywood but also in Hollywood too with her songs, TV shows and movies. And, we were also waiting to get an update of her next project. Looks like our wish has been granted as the actress took to her social media and announced a project with Mindy Kaling for a wedding comedy.

The Desi Girl and Mindy will be coming together for Universal Pictures. After the production giant won an auction for a pitch by Priyanka, Mindy and Dan Goor’s project, they are now working on the wedding comedy together. Dan Goor is an executive producer, while Mindy Kaling is known for her role in Ocean’s Eight and has also produced The Mindy Project. PC shared a screenshot of an article and wrote, “Two women with a passion for telling good stories, just got the green light to THEIR story THEIR way. So proud of this incredible partnership with @mindykaling and #dangoor! We are about to show you what it means to be modern, global, and Indian. See you at the cinema!” She also then posted a pic along with Dan and Mindy.
