Jeethu Joseph is the most sought after director among the young breed of directors in M`Town. Now the latest news is that Biju Menon has got an opportunity to work with this esteemed director as a hero.

Jeethu Joseph has in the pipeline a project based on a biographical book of Kollam based illustrious robber Maniyan Pillai. Already Roshan Adrews has announced a Nivin Pauly project based on another robber of Robin Hood style Kayamkulam Kochunni. The audience of Kerala had always kept a penchant for stories based on such good noble robbers. Earlier films based on such subjects had proved to be successful at the box office including Kayamkulam Kochunni, Ithikkara Pakki, Kalikkalam which had Mamootty in the lead etc.

G. R. Indugopan who has written the biography will work on the script. The director said that the script work is going on and once it is finished it will start shooting. Biju Menon will essay the role of Maniyan Pillai.According to the director he is busy with other announced projects including the one with Pranav Mohanlal. If the script of this film is complete, he may even give priority for this project.
