Wow! 'Baahubali 2' Beats 'Kabali' in its second weekend

The 'Baahubali 2:The Conclusion' directed by S.S.Rajamouli continued its never before never after historical performance in the box office in it second weekend at the Chenai Box office.
The Tamil version of the film had been retained in 19 screens across the city and there were 648 shows for the three days of weekend between May 5 to May 7. With that the film has collected Rs.2,42,67 in the second weekend. This is for the Tamil version alone. The average occupancy rate has been brilliant at 98%.
The total collections made by the film from April 28th to May 7th has come close to Rs.8 crores (Rs.7,98,57,99) and this is from the Tamil version alone.
The Telugu and Hindi versions of 'Baahubali 2' also released in Chennai and they also continue to run with houseful shows. The Telugu version has collected RS.29,07,120 and the Hindi version 6,89,160 in the second weekend.
The total collections made by all three versions of 'Baahubali 2' in Chennai so far has crossed the previous record of Supertar Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' which had collected Rs9.18 crores in 10 days. 'Baahubali 2' has collected Rs.9.35 crores (Rs.9,35,56,510) and is now the Highest grosser in Chennai in terms of collections made by a film in ten days.
