The fourth Avengers film hit the screens on April 26th. The film is now going to be released again but it’s a new version. Yes, you read that right. There are going to be bonus scenes unseen in the previous movie. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has said that the movie will be screened next weekend onwards. He said: “We are doing that. I don't know if it's been announced. And I don't know how much... Yeah, we're doing it next weekend.”
Feige also spoke about what the second version will include: “Not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend.”
The movie has already earned a whopping $2.743 billion. Possibly with this re-release, it will cross the current number 1 global box office mark of $2.788 billion recorded by Avatar. The directors Joe and Anthony Russo have not been giving much importance to the earnings, however. Joe Russo said: “I have to be honest with you. I’m almost disappointed that the movie did so well. Because it’s like, the box office story is literally dominating the conversation and it’s not the most interesting part of the story.” Anthony Russo also agreed by saying: “I try not to focus on it because even if we don’t pass Avatar, it’s like there’s no way I want to have a shred of regret about anything associated with this movie. So, I refuse to kinda consider it, you know?” Well once you cross billions, it’s hard to regret much right. There is a good chance of bagging the number one spot however as loyal fans must be eagerly awaiting the return of the film.
