Would Keshu-RKS postpone 'Family - Ties Of Blood'? That's the question that is looming large in the industry today considering multiple releases in the month of December and overdose of Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar movies in 2005.

This seems unlikely for now if one looks at the way the movie's promotion has taken an aggressive turn with theatrical trailers taking over song'n'dance sequences that have been put on backburners. The release date too is being flashed all over inspite of Suneel Darshan's 'Dosti' too being confirmed for 23rd December release.

One can understand the reason Keshu and Raj Kumar Santoshi may have behind this decision as they had gone through the same ordeal exactly 2 years back when their 'Khakee' was originally stated for October 2003 release. Even then the movie was first postponed due to 'Kal Ho Na Ho' coming on the same day when 'Khakee' was slated for release and then later it couldn't be released in December as J. P. Dutta decided to unleash his 'L.O.C.'.

Finally 'Khakee' could manage only a January 2004 release but by then it had lost some of its steam. Though the movie still managed to scramble through, the fact remained that it didn't succeed to the heights it would have had it as released as per the original plan.

Once bitten - twice shy! This must have been the thought process of the film makers as they have been relentless in their approach so far and have been firm on their stand for December 23rd.

Would Suneel Darshan buzz from his spot now to move his 'Dosti - Friends Forever' for some time later in the day?
