Speaking at the Pre-Release function of 'Bhaagamathie', Anushka said that she would have felt bad had the project gone to someone else.
"It was in 2012 that I heard this story and okayed it. But it got delayed for want of my dates. After having loved the script, I wanted to do it definitely," the 'Baahubali' actress said. The actress had got busy with the Rajamouli film and later, 'Size Zero'.
Fondly called Sweety by her industry friends, Anushka said that 'Bhaagamathie' has a lot of important characters, played by Jayaram, Asha Sharat, Prabhas Sreenu, Murali Sharma and Vidyullkeha Raman among others. "All the technicians have done a great job," she said.
The thriller hits the screens on January 26 in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
