`Woodstock Villa' which seems crucial for producer Sanjay Gupta after the disastrous `Dus Kahaniyaan' last year proves to be even more critical for debutants Sikandar Kher and Neha Uberoi. White feather films have always been associated with some fabulous music and thus you tend to expect the same from this album too.
The album opens with Anu malik doing his bit as composer for `Dhoka'. The track has been rendered by Aanchal Dutta who had her name accreited to `Janiye' from `Dus Kahaniyaa'. The lyrics penned by Virag Mishra carries the entire theme of the film with utmost grandeur. The track offers great repeat value. The `club mix `version of the track provides some great visuals too with Neha Uberoi making her presence felt.
`Saawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag' which brought in great amount of reputation and fame to Mika returns once again with this album.The track which has already been a hit at pubs and lounges sees a little change in lyrics by Virag. But ultimately it just can't beat the original.
`Kyun' brings in the Indipop band Aryans with the soft rock number featuring Sanjay Dutt. The track is splendid carrying emotions and is set to act as the vital promotional element with Sanjay Dutt's presence.
Anu Malik and Virag Mishra combine for the first truly romantic Anu style `Yeh Pyaar Hai'. Aanchal Dutta gets into the serene romantic mood and combines with Shaan to provide a soulful track which may seem the odd one out in a Sanjay Gupta venture.
It's now time for Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to bring in some soulful music and indeed he does impress with `Koi Chala Ja Raha Hai'. The track is quite folksy and binds you instantly.
Shibani Kashyap returns to her role of composer after `Life Peeche Peeche' from `Sirf' with `Raakh Ho Ja Tu'. The lyrics have been penned by Manoj Muntashir who does well in carrying the theme of the film. The track is pretty decent and blends well with the film.
With `Dhoka Dega' you just tend to wonder why the film isn't titled `Dhoka'. Well this track is quite different from the previous `Dhoka'. Here it's more of a give and take or reciprocity system of betrayal. The track has been composed and sung By Shibani Kashyap. The lyrics have been penned by Virag Mishra and isn't the best around. The track too isn't melodious or set to be remembered for ages but with Neha Uberoi sizzling on screen, this track promises quite a bit.
