At the start of this year, cricketer Yuvraj Singh and actress Hazel Keech welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in the family. On the ocassion of Father's Day 2022, Yuvi took to Instagram to introduce his fans and followers to his son Orion Keech Singh. In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, the former cricketer said that he was inspired by the name of star constellation Orion and named his son after it.

Talking about Orion's future, Yuvi stated that he is going to be accepting and supportive of whatever career path he son choses and he won't force him to become a cricketer like his father Yograj Singh did to him.

He stated, "Whether he (Orion) becomes a sportsman, whether he becomes an actor or whatever career he pursues, I’d always encourage him. I’m not going to be like my dad who said, ‘You’re only going to play cricket.’ When my son was born, my dad was like, ‘I want to make him a fast bowler’, and I was like, ‘Dad, too much pressure too early. Let him come out of the hospital first’. So, that’s the fun side, but I’d not pressure him to play a particular sport."
