Speaking at a success meet held to celebrate Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gaadha yesterday (Feb 14), Nani said in a light-veined manner that he had been wondering if he should play a villain's role.

"After watching KVPG with audiences at a theatre, as I was coming out, I heard four girls enquiring as to who played the heroine's brother. Upon being told that it's Shatru, they were like he's so cool. Ever since that, I have been wondering if I too should play a villain often so as to win fans like those girls," Nani said, smiling.

Shatru, a budding character artiste, debuted with Alias Janaki in 2013. He has since been noticed by critics and the industry.
