Nayanthara is an inspiration to women for fighting her way from humble beginnings to becoming the Lady Superstar of South Indian cinema.  She is known for avoiding public functions but shook off her policy to flag off a grand Women's Day celebration march event jointly organized by the Income Tax Department and a private social service organization.

The Women's Day march had thousands of college girls and women from all wakes of life taking the five-kilometer walk starting from Rajarathinam Grounds and ends at Nungambakkam via Ethiraj road and college road.  

Nayan dressed in stunning white spotted black suit was cheered by all those present and her gesture has been lauded by many.  Professionally the alluring beauty will soon be seen in 'Mookuthi Amman' and Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annathae' and will start shooting for her beau Vignesh Shivan's 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal' costarring Samantha and Vijay Sethupathi.
