A 21-year-old Kerala woman, who is suffering from mental health issues, was allegedly gang-raped by three men in a parked bus. The 21-year-old woman was raped in a parking bus on July 5 after they claimed to give her a lift back home. On Wednesday, July 7, the Police arrested two of the three men. The accused have been identified as 38-year-old Gobeesh and 32-year-old Muhammad Shameer.
Reportedly, the woman occasionally wanders from home to nearby places and returns home soon. This time, she left the house and went a little away. While she decided to return home, she sought a lift from vehicles passing by. The men who came on bikes offered her a lift and took her to an isolated place where a private bus was parked. After sexually abusing the woman, they left her at an auto-rickshaw stand in the region. According to the woman's statement, the attackers paid her 300 rupees and instructed her to come back the next day. The incident came to light only after the woman's mother found the money and asked her about it. Immediately after knowing the crime, her mother informed the neighbors and they reported it to the Police. Search is on to find the third accused in the case.
