Krishna Vamsi found himself in the dock when a Twitter user opined most recently that ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’ depicts sexual harassment in the name of teasing. ”A boy blackmails a girl and makes her do things against her wishes, molests her. This is harassment. This is what happens b/w Kajal & Ram Charan in ‘GA’. It surprises me that you found this romantic. My request – Don’t make such movies ever,” she tweeted out, tagging the director.
Not so surprisingly, the director rationalized the behaviour of Mega Power Star in the film. “She too likes him. And there is a blood bond between then which pulls them towards each other .. I think u never experienced this,” Vamsi remarked.
At this, the woman shot back saying, “Let’s forget even she likes him for a second.(Unfortunately, most harassers think that girls secretly enjoy it). What does it say about Ram Charan’s character in the movie? He is just a guy who is harassing a girl to get what he wants. Being her Bava doesn’t give him that right!”
Krishna Vamsi was hardly convinced. He told in a mock tone that he is not evolved like her. She said that it’s clear.
